The artwork consists of a star constructed from very old solid wooden planks, MDF, and tar. Its surface has been stained with successive layers of tar, repeatedly applied until it acquired a particularly dark and dense appearance. The construction has considerable depth, projecting outward from the wall and reinforcing a sense of weight and solidity. Its form presents itself as a strict and absolute shape within space.
